Fast, affordable, convenient
Since 1998, The ZOOM Turnpike Express has offered fast, affordable and convenient weekday commuter service connecting Biddeford and Saco to Downtown Portland.
ZOOM is an enjoyable alternative to the everyday hassles of commuting, such as traffic, tolls and parking. Buses are equipped with individual reading lamps, reclining cloth seats and air conditioning. Riders are treated to a relaxing ride to and from work. ZOOM busses are also fitted with bicycle racks.
ZOOM stops are located at:
- Maine Turnpike Exit 36 (Saco Park & Ride)
- Maine Turnpike Exit 32 (Biddeford Park & Ride)
- And at the Following METRO bus stops in Portland: Bramhall & Congress; High & Congress (intown side of street); Congress Street near Monument Square; Forest Avenue in front of World Over store (near USM).

ZOOM FARES
- Regular one-way fare is $5.
- 10-ride ticket costs $39.
- Monthly Commuter Card is only $80.
- Quarterly Passes available for $210.
- Parking Vouchers for the Public Market Garage can be purchased (2 per month) for an additional $2 with Monthly Commuter Card or $6 when buying a Quarterly Pass (3-months worth).
- Passes may be bought from the drivers.
- ZOOM riders are eligible for a free transfer to any connecting ShuttleBus, Metro or South Portland Bus route. Please be sure to request a transfer when you exit the bus.

No service on New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day(observed), President's Day, Patriot's Day, Memorial Day(observed),
Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
The last run from Portland on New Years Eve and Christmas Eve leaves Monument Square at 4:47 p.m.
